Open Day For Children Currently In Year 5

Sheen Lions are a long established competitive youth football club based in East Sheen. We provide the very best coaching and competitive match play for over 200 boys from the ages of 7 to 17 years. Currently we have 18 teams represented in the Surrey Youth League. Next season the Surrey Youth League are introducing 9-a-side soccer for the U11 age group. Training for U11 teams takes place every Saturday at Palewell Park, from mid Sept to the end of April, with match play on Sundays.

As part of our recruitment for season 2011/2012 we will be running a further open day for children currently in primary school year 5 on 2nd April 2011. Unfortunately, for this event we cannot accommodate children in any other year group, however details of our general recruitment policy are posted on www.sheenlions.com.

If you are interested, you are very welcome to come along, register for the Open Day and participate in some training sessions and practice games. Wear football kit including shin pads and boots and bring some water for refreshment.

There will be the opportunity to see a number of our coaches in action, meet members of our current squads and our management team.
